Backup Prestashop Database

There are a number of ways to backup your Prestashop MySQL Database, php scripts, phpMyAdmin etc, but alot of users are not aware that Prestashop contains a Database backup feature built right into the admin!

To backup your e-commerce store database, go to Admin > Tools > DB Backup. On this page you will be able to generate a new backup, or download a copy of previous backups to your computer.

Note: You need to make sure you download the file to your computer, else you will not have an isolated backup file of your database.

It is as easy as that!
